958 GTS LED lighting- Rear Footwell and mirrors

I'm in the process of doing some minor mods to my 958 GTS and while I've been able to pretty easily replace the vast majority of halogen lights with LED, I'm stuck on the rear foot wells (front was easy) and exterior side mirror lighting. I've pulled as hard as I'm willing to do on the foot well light housing. Any secret to this I'm missing or should I just pull harder?!?
Also, any advice on changing the puddle lights from the side mirrors?
Thanks in advance!

For the rear footwells, on one side of the housing, there's a small clip that you push in. I did it by raising the front seats all way up and forward for easier access.
As for the mirrors, I was able to take off the mirror out of the housing but couldn't get any further so just put the mirrors back in and figured i'd live with the two halogens rather than risk breaking something and paying 1k on a small clip...

Thanks for the advice on the rear foot wells. I'll give it a shot.
For the puddle lights, I didn't realize you had to take the entire housing off of the side mirrors to access the bulbs. Is this a pretty straightforward process? Or should I just leave the halogens?

Steps for doing the mirror puddle lights:
- remove mirror glass by plying it from the outer edge
- unscrew and remove mirror base
- remove body color mirror cover by releasing the clips from inside
- pull out light socket and replace the bulb
It is not difficult, just need to be careful.
