still works. Copy and past. Replace the vin number after ?vin= with the actual vin number you want to look up.

When I try it, it says my vehicle is not available. It is a '97. Ideas?

I think it's a current model year (post 2004) and North America database.

Our 01 996 is in there (though incorrectly listed as a Targa with a sunroof delete).

doesn't look like it has any info. you sure that't the right VIN?

For what it's worth, my 89 944 Turbo doesn't come up either.

The database folks are using is for North America - "ZZZ" indicates Europe/ROW.

I got in using this one from page 4, not sure what the difference was, but also has to be all caps.

The problem people are experiencing may be browser related. When I tried it in Chrome, typing in the entire link - I had a window open quickly and then it closed. I assume this is because the page tries to call up a printer interface to print the "report". Other times I got the VEHICLE UNKNOWN message. Dunno what the difference is.

If I opened it in Microsoft Edge (comes with Windows-10) it opens fine, and opens a printer interface as it opens.

If all else fails - try a different browser..

I stumbled onto this link that works on my Note 2 Chrome browser -

http://admin.porschedealer.com/repor...AD29P29LA60375

Use your own VIN, and remember to use all CAPS in the VIN.
This still works...Thanks 09RedGTS
