Single to Dual Conversion
Back to the pipes,
Update:
Of the three conversion options earlier stated, the Cat + Flowmaster -kept the tips- worked out best for me. The sound is healthy - nice rumble,
but not bothersome. Starting to spin the tires though before hook-up.
However, I am still looking for a 'little more'
HP. What I am wondering is would it be better (not necessaraly easier) if I went with matched length header pipes into a semi 'X' connection with a 3 inch pipe as opposed to duals with individual cats and shorty Flowmasters? Is less restriction the answer, or, is the flip side arguement about a little back pressure a concern?
Ideas/experiences welcome.
