Updating mObridge/BT Software

I would agree with Mudman that if your system is operating properly don't update. But getting the .txt is just some FYI stuff. It would be nice if Mobridge would tell us what the update fixes or improves but I've asked 3 times. Since mine was sourced a few years ago from Dice (via Amazon), they won't even talk to me. It is their product, It's not my fault their relationship went sour. I will think twice about using them over Dension next time.

Thanks guys for all the help. I 'm based in the UK and often frequent the 911UK forum. This forum is tops and in particular the helps section regarding DIY jobs.
Onto the mObridge; to save inserting an SD card into the unit can we not view the current software spec via option 6 in the PCM?

Hi,
I have been reading you guys post this morning as I think I have ran into similar problem with my MoBridge system on my 2005 997.1. I have had this bluetooth system installed 2-3 years ago, it has been working fine (though the manual system appear to be rather complicated for choosing my playlist). However, since I changed to a new Andriod phone, I noticed that the bluetooth phone connection has been playing funny, this is what has been happening.
On the screen of the car panel and as well on the phone settings, it shows that the phone is connected, yet when the phone actually is not connected (at least occassionally), when phone rings, only the phone itself rings but the system has no response at all. Sometimes it connects and allow me to talk via car system once or twice out of ten times. Plus when I am driving, the phone keep connecting and disconnecting and halting the iPod music playing from time to time (rather annoying).
I have tried to upgrade the firmware via using official Android mobile apps and Laptop program, yet after more than 10 mins, apart from showing on the phone that the apps has connected with the MoBridge system, yet nothing happened. (Guess lucky upgrade was not working). Anyway, think this is the version I currently have on my Mobridge as shown on pic.
What can I do? Please advise.
Thank you

Morning. If I were you I'd toggle the switch five times to take it totally off the system in the car, wait 5 mins and then toggle it five times again. This will reset the system and hopefully it will work fine for you.
Keep us updated.

Now I am not sure if it's my phone or the MoBridge causing the problem, the panel shows connected but when phone rings, the car audio shows no response and I have to answer via phone and use the phone speaker instead but hwile talking on the phone for a few seconds, it will connect to the bluetooth again by itself. Besides, every time when there is an incoming message, the car panel phone connection indicator will disconnect and connect again. Anyone had this experience?
Thanks

I have followed the instruction and used the MoBridge Android apps to upload the firmware (which it did) as originally the system wasn't working poperly BUT after upload / update the system is NOW COMPLETELY DEAD.
I will now need to take the unit out and send to Mobridge for fixing. Therefore, DON'T update.
Thanks
