Default Dual view clip-on towing mirrors

Lipstick (?) on the pig?

Since the Cayenne's mirrors don't let you see squat when towing anything significant in the rear, I picked up this set of **** mirrors (no affiliation ).

Plastic clips attach to the mirror housing and the unit is held in place by 2 sturdy rubber straps.

No paint issues, no whistling (65 mph on the interstate with no trailer), and they provide a pretty decent view with two adjustable mirrors per side.

The middle mirror has a bit of vibration, but the outside mirror is solid and steady. The box says #11953 - Black.

Very slick. Have only towed open trailers, so far, but I just may have to pick up a set before towing anything larger. Thanks!

Pepper towing... why do something EASY when you can make it challenging?

I can't make it to Lowe's.

I'd tried those and was afraid they were going to blow off after only driving 2 miles from my house and I even used duct tape as well as the straps. Also thought they looked pretty pathetic on something as nice as the Cayenne. Took 'em back to the store for a refund...
I now have no issues with the electric telescoping mirrors on my '08 F250 PSD...

I've used these for a few years to tow my trailers with the CTT. The mirrors look like sh-t on a 100K vehicle but work just fine. I wish Porsche would make mirrors that extend out preferably electronically for towing but so far this is the best solution I've been able to come up with.

Well of course silly, they'd look silly on anything if you use duct tape to hold them in place

Actually, a pair of gunmetal grey Maglites, artistically held in place with racer's tape, on the nose of an 04 Titanium Cayenne S, MIGHT look like a Porsche styling exercise.

On second thought, a pair of 2000# cement blocks, chained to a Cayenne, pushed off a bridge, into a river........now THAT's style.
