Default Wheels Referbished...Happy Birthday to Me...

As a birthday present my wife encouraged me to get the wheels refurbished on the Cayenne, they looked like the previous owner may have taken it out rock crawling. They turned out great. They were media blasted to bare metal, filled, powder coated and clear coated. I replaced two tires and a new (used) set of center caps off ebay. It looks brand new.

This is my twelve year old, 500 HP+, $13K winter beater...

Looking good! Now you'll realize how much like a curb magnet the rims are.. BTDT, have to get one of mine touched up before it goes back on with the summer tires in the spring.

The car looks very nice! Tempting to have Ruby's stock wheels wheels done before a new set of tires and summer.

I'm in the Atlanta area. I took it to Brian's Precision Body & Paint, they send them out for the refinishing.

$1400 for the whole set. And you'll probably want new center caps. Mine were $160 used (they look new); $260 new.

Funny, I told my wife the other day that the downside to this is I won't take it through the auto-wash any more. And this thing is some effort to wash...first world problems...
