Three Wheelin'
My camera failed about 5yrs ago ('06 CTTS) and I bought two small square cameras off Ebay, both for around $20 each from different sellers. They had RCA Female inputs, and I could only find a female RCA to Fakra (plug the Cayenne and most Euro cars use) adapter so I also had to buy a male to male RCA fitting to connect the two. I also found the OEM camera power input from the Cayenne was about 6.5v and only one of the two cameras I used would work. I first plugged in the video and used a 9v battery and they both worked, Murphys log I then modified the Cayenne bracket and with a little Silicone as glue fit it in. Of course after hooking it up found out it didn't work at 6.5v and tested the other one and found out it did so had to swap them out.
Recently my extension/retraction motor gave up so I purchased the solid rear panel and bought a Ebay license plate camera and hooked it up. Just as good of picture as ever, probably better at night as technology has improved.
