Default Air Suspension - Maintenance Height ('09 Turbo)

Followed the instructions in the video in preparation for the front pads/rotor replacement.

Noted that the suspension didn't change height, but I did get the message 'Regulation switched off'.

Just a little wary I guess as I haven't researched what it takes to reprogram the ride height system and really don't want to go down that path if I don't have to.

Researched the jacking point vs jack stands location...anything to know beyond what is located at the link below?

TIA-

Ride height regulation will resume operation automatically once you drive a little bit.

Thanks - and it did.

Tried the search function and Dr. Google to locate a comprehensive tutorial on the air suspension system to no avail.

From what I've been able to glean, an assembly of compressor, reservoir, bladders, sensors, valves a control module and a switch to determine operation.

If anyone has any clearer details of the system, I'd really like to read through the material for a better understanding of the system - just the Engineer geek in me showing through.

There is probably not a diagram of the entire air compressor system for the suspension; however if you want to see it all at the component level just go to one of the porsche dealer parts websites and search for Air Suspension - and you'll get diagrams with part numbers of each component that make up the system.
