Default WTB: V8/LSX 996 or 997 Coupe

Hi all,

I am looking around to see if anyone has or knows of a 996 or 997 LSX coupe (Renegade Hybrids or any other kit/build), that may be interested in getting rid of it.

Feel free to DM me

I looked around for a while, now I'm building my own. Seemed to be few and far between and the few that popped up had price tags higher than if you were to build your own.

Well I can say from first hand experience that it takes a lot more then you think to get these things working right. Renegade is great at selling the dream so when you initially sit down to figure up a budget you don't realize you need to bump that "misc costs" column up from $500 to $5,000+.

Not to mention they are such awesome cars when they are done i'm sure not many people part with them if they build them right. I built mine as a project to sell but have had a hard time letting it go. It is a Boxster S so probably not what you are looking for but if you are interested let me know~

I'll be posting it officially for sale very soon, car is done right with all supporting mods completed. Only real issue seems to be axles, although if you are not planning on drag racing it you should be fine

Witness the axle breakage here~

Their is a renegade ls swap kit in Detroit craigslist right now for $1900 just go under search and punch in Porsche and limit your $amount to $1800 to $2000 and it should pop up. if you want something a little different.. I have two kits for engine swaps into boxster or 911. 1 kit is for an lt1 to manual 6 speed with everything needed and the other kit is for a 3.8sc Pontiac motor to a 6 speed manual as well and that one had a built motor I can through in for the right price which is around 450hp everything is new and not used, parts still in the box. to my knowledge I am the only person yet to do this swap and had the kit custom made my self as no one offered it.
