I would consider replacing the OEM rear sway bar mounts as well while you're there.If you're going to go with larger adjustable bars it would be a good idea ...
Wevo makes a very strong mounting bracket that is welded in the original location !

I'm considering Tarret for my Winter sway bar upgrade project,what year is your car and what diameter bars did you use ?
My 89 already has the 22mm and 29mm torsion bars along with 996TT brakes,although it's still a street car by looks,it's slowly becoming more of a track toy ...
