Default 3.0 SC

I am building a 3.0 SC motor and have the following changes in mind.
I will rebuild from the crank up with new bearings, resized rods with ARP bolts Magna-fluxed and polished rods and crank.

I am using JE 10.5 pistons in re-chromed cylinders. Using stock but re-built SC heads. New guides, valves, springs and valve / seat grind.

New GE-60 cams.

PMO 46 carb set up.

Crank fired six coil set up for twin plugs.

1 5/8 headers without heat exchangers.

Does anybody see any problems with this set-up for street use? Picture the 911 as a four wheel motorcycle. No need for heat or A/C.
Any guesses on HP?
Thanks!

ML

That sounds like a fun motor.

I would shoot an email to Steve Weiner. He can give you a very good advice on your project.

According to our own Deiter Scholte, this arrangement should be fine for the street. As for HP, he says you won't really know what it'll do until it's together and on the dyno. Whatever the ultimate #, it should be fun!

Have you already started the build, Lindy?
