Make sure your installer can get the pattern you want covering all the area you want covered. A lot of patterns are made from 3M film (better protection, harder to install, more orange peel look) but some are cut small or don't cover the entire front of the car or side areas around the wheels. Some installers can cut their own patterns and can do a custom fitting which can work out well if they know the 996 or do installs for the local Porsche dealers. Ask them about references from Porsche owners.

We just had Rob Murphy (his Number is 847-903-1019) do a custom clear bra on a brand new E46 M3 widebody race car that we built, and he did an AWESOME job. I'd HIGHLY reccomend him!! He is in the Chicago area.
The car we built is so nice, its going to be hard to take on track for the first time, but once you start the V8 S62 motor, and slap that X-Trac sequential into first, we'll forget all about how the car looks!!![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

You may be able to find an installer here: www.xpel.com / invisiblepatterns.com. Just do not rely fully on certifications...someone who was trained yesterday is considered "certified". What's more important is experience and their work quality. Paint protection film installation is not rocket science, but it is a craft. Mastering a craft takes many years of day to day experience. Be sure to look at the final product to ensure their standards match yours.
