Default Fiberglass body parts recommendations

I have a 73 911 race car that I am cosmetically fixing up over the winter. I am thinking of replacing the hood, bumpers, front fenders, doors and decklid with fiberglass parts. My priorities are light weight and good fit up without having to rebuild each part to get gaps and line up good. Trying to decide who to buy from. Any recommendations or good/bad expeiriences?
Thanks

How about MA Shaw? Rennspd? I'm considering Shaw's RS3.8 wing and the GT2 front spoiler with wing from either Rennspd or American International Racing.

GT Racing has always been good to deal with for me.

I have used Getty and MA Shaw and there is apparently some connection between the 2 companies. They share molds I believe. Anyway I currently have a MA Shaw GT2 lower splitter, it needed some work to fit right. None of this stuff ever bolts right on.

I used Rennspeed for my hood, front and rear bumpers, tail, and wheel flares. Great prices. Good quality. Good fit. I've also used Getty for a tail and it was of good quality.

I kept my original steel doors and the intrusion bar. To lighten the doors, I removed the window glass and frames, mechanism, and cut out the inner shell. I replaced the inner shell with an aluminum panel.

Do not expect any fiberglass part to fit perfectly. They usually need some fussing to get to fit and look nice.

very true.
When i visited MA Shaw in Orange County Ca recently, they also had Getty marketing materials.
An employee confirmed that the two companies share some molds.

make sure you re-read where AndyT said "None of this stuff ever bolts right on".

think of it as a great opportunity to learn some bodywork fitment skills .

cheers

Another + for Getty. Also, I highly recommend their carbon fiber pieces.

Where is Getty? Online or telephone? A search returned nothing.

Try this.....

http://www.gettydesign.com/

Getty makes the stuff for shaw, and others who claim to make their own stuff.

Rennspeed stuff is okay too, but some of it comes from AIR etc..... GT racing has been hit and miss in my experience.

There are lots of body part retialers, and few manufactures.....

Cheers
