What's advantage of GT2 uprights over stock 993?
What's the advantage of 993 GT2 front uprights (meaning front wheel bearing carrier housing) over stock 993 or 993 RS/RSR?

Struts and springs determine rideheight.
As w/ a 911 bumpsteer is the result of poor alignment of the steering gear.
on a 911 the steering rack can be be lowered and the tierods o/s to realign them properly
on a 993 you have to use these RS/EVO uprights w/ the straightened tierods to restore the correct geometry

personally I would play around with the geometry before worrying about 993GT2 front struts.
My 993GT2 that I have just finally got to play with has been set at zero toe on the front. This thread has just made me realise that this was probably done with an empty fuel tank, recommended half full and its fine on smooth roads but a bit of a pig on uneven surfaces. IMO I reckon most of the time she will be toeing out and that will have to be addressed. Makes for a very unrelaxing drive.
