Hi folks, Ive done quite a bit of searching and not finding all the answers Im looking for for what I have / have looked at buying:
Im looking at installing 2 Recaro SPGs that come without brackets/sliders so I need to order brackets and have been looking at Speedwaremotorsports brackets, factory Recaro brackets, or Brey Krause brackets.
Q: Are any (all?) of these brackets capable of retaining the factory 944/911 issued sliders? I have a complete set of driver/passenger sliders from the stock 86 seats that I can use and Id like to make this the most cost effective / bolt-in solution.
Thanks,
Sam

Well after talking with some folks it seems like Recaro, Brey Krause or Speedware brackets can be used and Ill be using Recaro non-height adj. sliders...this should allow everything to bolt right up. Also on the option list are tunnel belt mount kits made by BK or Recaro to allow for the 3-point belt to still be functional...
Northstar Motorsports comes in around $320 for Recaro brackets/sliders and Stable Energies is around $330 for the same. Prices go up from there swapping in BK mounts or Speedware mounts. (Although not much, they are all pretty similar...)

I came across a pair of used Recaro sliders (from a 964 w/SPG's). I thought I might have had a friend that needed them, but turns out he didn't. Not sure I will ever use them. May be worth something to you though. Interested?
