Visit www.devek.net and have a ball. Headers and exhaust are always nice, you can get some good cams for the early motor, or you can build a stroker and run 200mph+ all day long.

Go with the exhaust mods first. Just chop off the rear muffler first and check the sound with the stock middle muffler. You should like that, and you dont have to 'buy' any parts.

Also check:

Good Luck.

Brad, if you need power increase and reliability is important, I would suggest to trade in the car for a 928S4 (the last models of S were also 5.0L 32V for US market). That would be the cheapest way also.
As John suggested, change the rear muffler to a straight pipe if you want to have fun for $0. I did it when I had 928 and the sound was good. My 928 experience is a 1980 4.5L 240hp where we put the 310hp-euro928S heads (cams, valves etc.) + EFI, the result was around 280-290hp I guess, but the car lost its low end torque and that's what you do not want to happen to a 928. Of course it had much more top end power and it run much faster to the rev limitter, but my opinion is that 928 isn't a race car and let's keep it this way. Cruise your car as it is and have fun.
Although I kept 928 as my daily driver for a year, I do not like 928's much (except the sound of course). They are like coupe S-series MB's. I'm more of a racer type and I'll never forget the feelings of my 951...

Kelley-Moss brought a 944-GTR to Sebring a few months back. It had a 6L 928 motor, producing over eight Hunert h/p. Went by the 600 h/p twin turbos like the were tied to a fence post.
