How much can an 8 inch long, 400lbs spring for coilovers be compressed? I mean what is the travel?

 

My guess would be "enough." But you can figure it out yourself by just looking at the spring. If you know the wire diameter you should be able to figure out how high that spring will be when all the coils are touching each other.
