This topic was covered just before the "crash",Im not sure if it's been archived or not, but if I recall it went something like this:

If you retain the DME from the 3.2 you'll have to make a cut out in the bell housing to clear the sensors for the flywheel, if you go with carbs and/or some other ignition you won't have a problem. The flywheel has to be a 3.2, again if you're going with DME. IF not, you can use a flywheel and clutch from a 2.7, 3.0, or 3.2, I have a clutch and flywheel from a 3.0, a 915 trans and an '84 3.2 case in my car, so I know that combination works.

Good luck !

Good advice,.......Howard is right on, except of the flywheel issue.

The 2.7 uses a 6-bolt crank and the 3.0 & 3.2 use a 9-bolt crank.

You can use an SC 3.0 flywheel for carbureted or MFI'ed applications but should you choose the Motronic, you'll need the 3.2 flywheel to retain the trigger for that system.
