Red face Solid disk brake upgrades early 911's

Can anybody provide information on which calipers can be used on the rear of an early 911/912. I have heard people using boxster, 944, bmw, volvo or after market calipers. I have factory vented crossdrilled rotors, just need to know which calipers. Thanks

If you have the old steel trailing rams chances are they have 3" bolt spacing for the caliper mounts, which limits the chooice for your calipers, Im guessing you would need to use a "m" caliper <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />

The vented rotors are also bigger than the solid ones, will these work with the 15" Fuchs.

15" Fuchs were standard through the 911SC (don't recall about the Carrera), which had the later strut and vented rotors.
