Default Looking ahead to a future of racing.

with a future geared to racing would an after market steering wheel be better in leather or suede?, im thinking suede. and also 350mm vs. 330mm?

suede might offer better grip, but it will get dirtier more quickly.
If this is a race car then it doesn't really matter how dirty it gets..form follows function.
As for the steering wheel size..if u can reach the brake without hitting ur knee on the wheel and get comfy driving position with the stock wheel....just leave it. Is there something i'm missing out on here?

What car is this going into?

What kind of car? Power steering? The smaller the wheel, the more force you must use from your arms to turn the wheel. Just something to think about. If you are racing, you will be wearing gloves so the leather/suede for "grip" becomes less of an issue. Also don't forget your budget. Would you rather spend a few more bucks for suede than put it towards the "parts" budget? it all ads up, you know.

From experience, suede steering with racing glove
is the best... and safer.
You will need less force to hold the steering, less fatigue
and better control and more feedback.

Leather don't has enought grip...

Suede after the years looks like leather and lose
grip and you are good for a new one...
