Pedel cluster upgade
Hi all,
I am putting together my plan of attack for upgradeing my race car to a 88 Carrera G-50 trans from a 78SC 915 trans. I have a g-50 short that I am begining to upgrade to steel sliders and sincro's. I am contemplating gear selection or ring and pinion sizing any thoughts on that would be helpfull as well.
I have been told that I will need to use a smaller master cylinder for the hydrolic cluch on the updated pedel cluster because of space diferences between a SC tub and a carrera tub. I have the updated 88 pedel cluster but did not purchase the lines thinking I may have to make up lines to accomidate this smaller master. I will need to mount a resivior for the fluid seeing at I have a duel tilcon master set and resiviors for the break system. Any thoughts.
