Is anyone running no balance shafts in their 944 turbo motors? Ive heard of it being done but wasnt sure how smooth they run with out them. Mines also has a lightened knife edge crank, lightweight rods, and pistons. so maybe it wouldnt make much of a difference if the werent on their.i also posted this on the 944 turbo forum

I have deleted mine...you hardly notice it.
It does have a harmonic at around 3 k ...I dont ever drive with it there much or for very long.

It is not something that just anyone can do.Scott Gomes has everything needed to make the job easy.
We put a lot of thought into it when we can up with a kit .
I think he will sells it as a kit.
