Default Modifications for a 86' 944 Turbo ???

Hello

I'm new to the forum and I just bought my first Porsche... a 1986 944 Turbo...
I"ve always been a Porsche enthusiaste... in particular the 911 series...

So this car is stock....My question is ....What can I do to it to increase the performance? and also make the car look more appealing....

(Don't get me wrong...I love the the body and upholsetry of the car ...I just want to it to be more up to date with technology)

Modifications that i want to make....

Cold Air Intake
MAF kit
Blow of valve
Dual Exhaust
Light weight bumper, hood, sideskirts, rims

I would appreciate it if you would let me know of some good mods...

I'll be using this car for personal use and occasional closed circuit racing....

Thanks

***I'm also looking for some guages.... I saw these..... http://www.elgauges.com/index.asp?Pa...ROD&ProdID=285 .... but they are not for the turbo....so if you know of anywhere that i could some like this style please lemme know****

Yes, at the 944 Turbo board you will find all your answers. Just to give you a heads up on the info you talked about:
Cold air intake : some people are playing with this idea, not real big HP increase
MAF : This is a VERY good upgrade that many of us have made, good to tune the car as well
Dual Exhaust : Not even worth it, not enough room to run the piping plus no added power, get a 3" full exhaust if you want to add some power.
BOV : I upgrade to a Saab unit, not sure of part number
Lightweight : I haven't hear of many parts out there at a decent price.

Things to look into:
Boost controler, new wastegate, cat-less, 3 bar fuel reg., larger injectors, chips, piggyback, turbo.
If you check my profile, I have most of this on my car and it REALLY runs good.

I would also try giving PowerHaus and Lindsey racing a call.
