Lightbulb Euro-spec AMBER rear turn signal lamps from factory?

So in Europe, rear turn signal lamps are required to flash amber.

In the US, rear turn signal lamps are allowed to flash either amber or red.

It seems all US-spec European cars for the last 10 years or so are fitted with RED rear turn signal lamps. I imagine it’s cheaper than using the amber lamps that the Euro market requires.

I have this thing against RED rear turn signal lamps.

I think they are stylistically boring and lazy-looking (not to mention less safe), ESPECIALLY when they double as the brake lamp.

On the American Porsche website (or Audi, Mercedes, Land Rover websites for that matter), you cannot self-configure a car with the Euro-spec AMBER rear turn signal lamps.

My question is: When you actually put in a factory order for a new car through a dealer, can you ask to have the car delivered to the US with the Euro-spec AMBER rear turn signal lamps (even for an additional fee?) Has anyone done this before?

Is there a Porsche sales associate on here that knows?

After all, AMBER rear blinkers are perfectly legal in the US too.
