Default 986 Boxster S lightening

Greetings,

I have a 2000 Boxster S I have been racing for several years. Due to some changes in NASA I’m not as competitive against BMW’s due to their torque. I have a CF hood and Braille battery but need to drop more weight. I currently weigh 2,900:with driver. I would appreciate any suggestions, and no, I can’t drop much more weight myself.

I appreciate your suggestions.

John

Thank you for the suggestions. I have a lightweight flywheel and clutch but I’ll look at some of the other mods.

Remove the fuel vent carbon canister and install an alternate fuel vent.

Hi. being you are reducing weight , what have you done with aero? I do not know what weight I will be at, but I am concerned with aero

I am building a track only 986, LS powered and full cage, fiberglass to, not a Porsche top, top is about 6 lbs but it is completely gutted and am concerned about aero in the rear..I have a 996 GT front bumper and splitter now

Thanks
