Default Video: Soul Performance Valved Exhaust Vs Stock 991.1 C2 non PSE

Hi guys and gals,

Before making this video I was humming and hawing about whether I wanted to upgrade the exhaust. I needed more sound, because the stock base exhaust is essentially silent. The predominant reason why I was hesitating was because I was afraid of the dreaded drone - and that would have killed the driving experience for me. Since I don’t have the PSE option, I don’t have the necessary vacuum lines for another other Valved exhaust system on the market (not sponsored by Soul btw). But then I found Soul...

This video took me 2 years to put together - filmed the base exhaust video last summer and this season filmed the Soul Performance Valved Exhaust.

If any 991 owner is looking to upgrade their base exhaust it’s definitely worth it. It blows the stock exhaust out of the water and now I have a Valved system to boot! Hope everyone likes the video - I hope to make more.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks for putting this together, very nice video. The soul performance sounds great, both open and closed.
My previous 997.2 S without the PSE had the sharkwerks exhaust mod and it sounded awesome. Quiet when you were light on the pedal and explosive when getting after it. My recent 991.1 S has the PSE and it has some drone, depending on speed and rpm. Would prefer the sharkwerks instead of the PSE. I use the PSE mode when I am just tooling around at slow speeds and find if I am living in the upper rpm ranges then I keep it closed and it sounds more like my sharkwerks mod. Anyway thanks for the video.

I am happy that my video was useful! I know I was lost when looking for upgrading my 991.1 without PSE. Glad it could be of some help!

💎🙌 forever! My pleasure, keep doing the great job you guys keep doing! I have a side by side video too, between non PSE exhaust and the SOUL Valved closed and open (took me 2 years to get that video completed with exact mirror shots pre/post Soul install). Feel free to upload that too if you want! Really helps to hear the massive increase in sound from Porsche base exhaust to Soul’s upgrade.

I’m also happy to have my video beside James @ AutoAmateur!
