If people on this forum seem to frown upon reusable oiled filters...
why do BMC filters seem to be factory equipment on both the 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 and 918 Spyder, which are two of the more expensive modern Porsches?

That is a reusable engine AIR intake filter isn't it? No way I am reusing an old oil filter, and I can't imagine an owner of a 918 or 4.0 would think any differently!!
