I had the choice to have it manufactured either way and decided to go with this configuration. I towed a 78 911SC Euro track car that had a 74 RS front bumper with a splitter on it. The car was slightly lowered, and I always used 4 inch race ramps, never had a problem. My car had about 2.5-3 inches of ground clearance at the splitter.
Let me know if I can help in any other way. Thanks

The trailer weighs about 1,100 pounds. And yes, it's been kept in a garage its entire life; it's been exposed to the elements literally only during track weekends, which means less than a total of 40 days. Besides the very minor signs of wear (surface scratches and such) it's essentially a brand new trailer. The tires are also in near-new condition.
Thanks for the interest, guys. Such a beautiful trailer needs a new home, with someone to cherish it, just as I have these past couple of years. Sadly, my new enclosed trailer renders this one unneeded.
