i got a mysterious looking pm from 11quarts for a WTB post i had put up a month or two ago
telling me to reply directly to quarts11@outlook.com
looked up his previous posts and they just don't jive
just putting it out there. if this is legit then i apologize but something smells fishy

Your nose is correct. I also got a PM from that account about one of my WTB threads, 100% a hacked account. I reported the PM to admin.

LOL. So I just received a PM on my WTB (from a different user) to text them for more info. Maybe I'm over cautious, but if you have a legit reply, you're not going to respond with text / email me for more info.

Sorry, but not true at all. Communicating back and forth through pm is limiting (photo sharing etc) and a PITA. I'd much rather use email than PM and frequently request via PM that they send me an email. Of course with thousands of posts, most keno w I'm legit. Would be different for a low post count user or newly joined one.

Be very careful guys, he just sent me an email with an offer to sell a set of Ohlins got 1650. He also photoshopped his screename and date on a piece of paper with the coilovers.
