Default Hardback Sport Seats

Category: Interior
Price (no $ sign please): $6500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 993
Location (Region): SoCAl
Item Condition: Used

Just Updated my 1996 C4S with a set of Carbon Sparco DTMs. These increasing hard to find Factory Hardback Sport Seats are in really great condition. Everything works. I also have a bunch of other interior stuff too (I went to RS door panels and carpets), which I will post separately.
My sense was the last pair of these seats went for $6,500 but I haven't been tracking the market. I'm open to offers. Shipping is buyers responsibility.

Thanks for looking.

Rob

Nice seats and you’re local. Any pictures of your door panels? Condition? I maybe interested.

I just posted on my other ad. I’m reposting here as well.

First and foremost, I want to apologize to the whole community. I’m not going to make any excuses. I just dropped the ball. I didn’t, however, do it on purpose. Things got hectic for me and just dropped the ball. Plain and simple. I have things back in order and believe I have now responded to everyone. I totally get if you’re frustrated and/or not interested. That’s on me too. The best I can do at this point is accept full responsibilty for my poor performance and just apologize to everyone.

I’m sorry about all of that and more than a little bit embarrassed.

Respectfully,

Rob

I do have a deal pending on the Seats and I’m trying to figure out how to get them shipped.

Shrink wrap em. Then put in a quality wardrobe box. Try shipping via Greyhound.

Technut, Lexvan is right on with the packing advice. Everything you need including the beer is pictured below. UHaul’s Grand Wardrobe Box (24” x 21” x 48”) works perfectly. You don’t need all 48” height, but the box is prefolded to go a foot lower. If you fold the seat forward it fits nice and snugly. Definitely shrink wrap to protect the seats and keep out any moisture. Also a good idea to shrinkwrap some cardboard over the rails for added protection. Be sure to buy some regular shipping tape and some filament tape to secure the box.

Thanks for the help. Seats are now sold and shipped via UPS. Thanks Travis.

It turns out that UPS has a Pack and Ship service. They used a 24x24x24 box and then used a 24x24x16 as a top. They used bubble wrap (double thickness to protect the back) and the bubble backing around the sides. I had plastic bags from my Sparcos that I used for the back and bottom before they packed them. I asked about peanuts but they felt it wasn't needed. They marked the boxes fragile. And offered full insurance at the purchase price for each seat.
