Default Bilstein B6 struts with H&R sport lowering springs

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price (no $ sign please): $800
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 964
Location (Region): SoCAl
Item Condition: Used

Bilstein B6 struts with H&R sport lower springs for Porsche Carrera 2/4 (964) - complete front/rear set. This is frequently the suspension of choice for replacing stock suspension. I would have to agree with others regarding the substantial improvement over stock that this setup affords. Comes with what you see in the first photo. Used for less than 2000 miles. No leaks, no rust, no squeaks. Mild wear signs on the strut bodies but no gouges, dents, etc. Shipping will be additional.

Are these compatible with an NB 993?

No, unfortunately the 993 rears are a bit different and the fronts have slightly different sized wheel carrier mounting hole diameters.

It's a 1994 C4 widebody. Some people have been asking what they look like installed. Here are a few shots without using the front lowering collars. Trying to get lower than this would require the collars. It's not the photo in my avatar.

Looks nice.
The rear shocks mounts are different for early 964s and late 964s, from what I've read elsewhere anyway, so thanks for the additional model year info.

That was my concern as well, don think these will work on my 89 C4?

The rears will not fit an 89 C4, but the fronts will.

Do you know what the drop is, f/r? I am concerned about driveway approach and speed bumps around here.

Thanks!

The current spec is that it can lower the car 30-50mm. I daily drove mine, and I never had issues with scraping on speed bumps or driveways, and I went as low on this system as I could. Perhaps, it might be an issue if you find a more extreme driveways or bumps, but I find those to be rare situations. These have adjustable collars, so you can stay high if that's what you prefer. It will easily get you to ROW height.
