These are pretty nifty! I wrapped mine in Alcantara to better match with the rest of my interior.

For those of you with Stone Gray interior .. I found this spray paint to be a great match:

I also found that this paint colors and seals in one step, no clear necessary .. just a quick sand with 1000 grit. Here's the final look:

The only warning I'll provide for anyone interested in wrapping these items is that they have pretty tight manufacturing tolerances, so too thick a material and you will experience a little friction or perhaps downright rubbing/obstruction. I have a very little friction that may reduce overtime with use.

Alcantara pannel is relatively thin - leather would probably not work.

I take it the 996 handles have been scrapped?

Nice ... I will steal that idea! I've added the lower dash, door pulls and armrest. This will flow nicely.

Thanks for he idea.

Default ***** SUPER PLEASED...GT STYLED DOOR PULL *****

Hi Jacob Just got my order from you and have to say really pleased with them and here are the pictures I promised I would take so I could help others see how good they look in car and how super easy install procedure was...

Looking forward to changing these!

1) Pull open to reveal a Torx screw

2) You will need a size T20 for removing this screw.

3) While holding open remove screw and place somewhere safe!

4) You can then just pull handle out towards you in the slightly open position...Do not worry if door latch springs shut!

5) Remove old door pull

6) With fingers or plastic pry tool pull back the section SEE PIC 4) so you can see the screw hole and slide on new door pulls and tighten with T20 but be careful not to over tighten as plastic!

7) That is it, Job done and at a fraction of the cost and time.

8) I think they are easier to open the door with than the original.

9) Plus in my opinion look Great amongst my interior trim. <br/>BIG THANKS TO JACOB - EXCELLENT SERVICE & DELIVERY TO U.K. 2 WEEKS VIA USPS.

Regards & Best Wishes Jason

It would be nice if you guys actually used a trackable method of post instead of cheaping out for the cheapest available option to Canada...

We are trying to make it the most affordable for everyone. All orders are shipped with tracking. The tracking was messaged to you and I checked on it this morning. You should have them any day now. If anyone would like to pay an extra $35-$50, we would gladly use other more expensive methods.

When you pull the strap, the entire housing and all moved outward, just as the stock handles do. The strap does not move separate from the housing like the real RS pulls. This is the difference but for a price difference of about $400 these are a great alternative. I will eventually probably get real RS door pulls and sell mine but in the meantime I'm happy with the product.
it's be great to see a pic of the strap fully pulled out (to see what's described as the housing also being pulled outward)
