element of reliability. Power levels and use along with tuning can change
the reliability and life expectancy of any engine. 1000+ HP is a serious
engine and requires parts suitable for obtaining this level along with user
care. An engine is the sum of its parts.
The parts included in the list are our 4.0L Turbo builds. These
engines produce 830+WHP at 0.9B manifold pressure.
A few words about the builder. Performance Developments and Engine Design was founded in 1990 by Neil Harvey. Neil has been in the industry since 1973, which is why we are a leader in prototype engine design and development with a reputation for quality engine rebuilding. Neil Harvey brings unparalleled credentials and experience, which include Formula 1, Cart, Sports Cars, GT, SCCA Pro Racing and SCORE off road. As a member of a team with 2 Formula 1 world championships, 1981 and 1983, Neil gained impressive knowledge of design and the requirements for winning. This is why customers worldwide trust Performance Developments with their engines.
The cost of this engine to replicate would be near $85K for PD to replicate not counting the case itself and ESMOTOR intake etc. I have receipts which includes labor charges and the following: Prep Case for windage. Machine case for piston skirt clearance Machine case for stepped head studs Machine galley plugs and fit to case Machine heads for custom sealing system Machine cam trays for high lift cams Machine cylinder heads for stepped washers. Machine piston valve pockets for high lift cams Mock up engine with new rods and gt3 oil pump Disassemble engine, intake system, go through parts labor fit lower manifolds and injectors, go through water plumbing, start final fit of new manifold. Intake manifold fitting, assemble engine. Engine can be picked up in Porter Ranch Ca or can help arrange freight shipping on buyers expense.
$46K is a steal at more then half off and no down time. This is a complete motor with the best internals money can buy including the best intake manifold from ESMOTOR and harmonic balancer.
Reasonable offers welcomed!
Here is a complete list of what is included with the engine:

hi, i have a 2007 997.1 Turbo TT. I have just upgraded the VGT from Emre. The engine has run 30,000 kms in all and hardly 500kms after the turbo upgrade. Would you consider a swap? If yes, then about the map tune? What would it cost shipped to NY 11416?

Not sure if I understand your question. If you are asking if I will directly swap your stock 997tt engine with low miles to a fully built 1500hp capable engine with no miles then I will pass but thanks for offer. If you would add cash to the deal then you can pm me the details.

Responded to all pm's.
I will post this to clarify a few things as the few pm's were asking the same thing. This is a fully built motor with 0 miles. I got it back 5 months ago. It has never been ran. No turbos or fuel system come with it, as this is best configured by the end user.
This built took a very long time and as you can imagine very stressful but I feel it will make someone that wants to make a lot of power very happy and no 1 year down time due to parts, life etc..
I also got a few people wanting to trade in their motor's plus cash that I was considering but no longer. Thanks for looking.

A few more pm's responded to regarding different fitment on different applications. It will be able to run stock ECU on 996tt but in order to work with 997TT you will need to run a standalone. Not sure why either would want a stock ecu if you'll be pushing her above 1000Hp any way!
This is roughly 50% off retail and no down time. I'm open to offers but be realistic. Thanks

Thanks for offer fellas, but not looking for any trades+cash. You can always sell your motors yourself to recoup some funds.[/QUOTE]
Whoa! That has to be the best 1st post of all time. I did pm you back as well.
