I wonder too. Perhaps it is the offsets?

You can't fit an et56 10" rear w. 265 tire in the back of a NB 993? BTW, wrong color wheels for your cab Rodney.

There does seem to be a lot of anxiety over the offsets.

I plan to measure them again this weekend when I am home. But they fit with no issue on my NB 964.

Maybe they'll fit, but I'm not much of a risk taker. And if they do fit, how will they look?

As for color, I'd paint them. But the offsets would have to be right.

Finally got a chance to measure the back spacing tonight. Hopefully this helps with some fitment questions.

The fronts are approximately 6.75".

The rears are approximately 7.75"

I think you also need to know where the wheel centerline is...

Thanks for the chart link.

If I'm wrong, then someone can correct me. But if that backspace chart is linear, then the OP's wheels are ET57 and ET57. So, roughly the same as the OP had intially thought.

I think that depends on how much you need to subtract for the wheel centerline. If the wheel is 8 inches wide, and the backspace is 6.75 then you need to account for the centerline... I think

The wheel centerline is at 4" for the front wheels and 5" for the back wheels. The fronts are measuring 6.75" back space which is probably closer to 6.5" or a little less because wheel width is not measured outside to outside but rather from bead seat to bead seat. Those measurements give the wheels a positive offset of approximately 2.5" or 63mm. The same goes for the rears. This is all according to my high school math skills so ymmv.

Maybe this can help shed some light on these wheels and their offsets: http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/w...r_SPEC09A4.pdf

If these are A-Disk WORK Brombacher wheels with 8" front and 10" rear then the offsets is likely Front et60 and Rear et60. If these are L-Disk WORK Brombacher (i.e. barreled for larger brake calipers) then the offsets would match the original statement of the seller et56 front and et56 rear.

NOTE: What is labeled as "Rim Depth" on the table that I linked is in fact the lip depth, so 24mm (~1") lip for front and 49mm (~2") lip for rear wheels. I had to sort through all this when ordering replacement wheels for my second set of WORK Brombacher wheels. I'm pretty certain my wheels are A-Disk, but it wouldn't surprise me if Pkblu's wheels are L-disk since they were intended for a 996 originally. I'm still a little foggy on the alphabet soup of disk types...

And yes, apparently one can order these wheels with 163mm (~6.5") deep lips. Insanity!

I was told they came off of a 996, but fit with no issues on my 964.
Now that we have confirmed the wheel size and ET56 offset, just use the Rennlist Tire Rim Calculator to check the change in clearance with your stock wheel size
I ran the numbers for the OEM wheel sizes for the NB 993 ... Bottom line - the front will be 6mm (1/4") inboard and the rear 9mm (1/3") outboard and should fit fine ... hope this helps.
