This paddle shift Tiptronic steering wheel does not require any dealer programming. It is plug-and-play.
I think this is the factory thicker steering wheel. I think they were about a $1,000 option. It was modified to have real paddle shifters. They work like a charm.
The condition of the steering wheel is very good. There are no major scratches in the leather. The car only has 25k miles on it. Some of those miles were put on my Techart steering wheel - not the one for sale here.
I just made the same modification to the Techart steering wheel I will be using.
I will need your Multi Function Steering Wheel in exchange.

Very interesting.
This raises the question, can back-mounted paddles be installed on a 993 wheel? I have Tippy & dislike the front-mounted buttons a lot. I am spoiled by the back-mounted stationary paddles on the GranTurismo (mounted to the steering column). Wife's E350 has back-mounted paddles attached to the wheel so they move like the Porsche. Satisfactory, but nowhere near as good as the Maser's.

I can't edit the original post.
So I have to do it here. I do about one of these every couple of weeks.
Doing these conversions is tricky work. I thought that I would get faster - but it still takes me almost an entire day.
I sell this mod on ebay for $1,500.
I can do a special Rennlister deal at $1,350.
This price is for the modification to your wheel.
If I have a spare wheel in the garage we can do a swap or I can loan you the wheel. I'll send you a picture of the condition of the wheel to make sure the condition is acceptable to you.
