For sale is an X73 suspension kit for a 996 C4S. It was installed on a 2004 C4S by Barrier Porsche in 2005. If I recall correctly it lowered the car somewhat more than 1" and gave firmer and more confident handling at the limit.

Alas it was uninstalled and replaced by the original C4S suspension (again by Barrier Porsche) less than a year later. (My spouse did not car for the very firm suspension for day-to-day driving.) It has sat in my garage ever since.

It did not see much use, perhaps 1000-2000 miles.

Disclaimer: when Barrier reinstalled the original suspension, I don't know whether they replaced the original motor mounts or left the X73 motor mounts installed in my car, in which case these are the original 2004 C4S motor mounts with only a few thousand miles on them.

From what I've been able to gather in an internet search, these are the stock motor mounts for 996/C4S/TT.

I understand this suspension is now unobtainium.
