Conventional wisdom is to match front splitters, with a complimentary tail, or visa versa.

"Your" 993 tail is sitting in my garage, all painted up sweet in GP white with the brake light array on the trailing edge of the wing (It works). I had the wing painted Grand Prix white...the P.O. covered the actual wing with a faux carbon fiber covering...It has a small Gurney lip on the upper trailing edge of the wing...I didn't want to go to the bother to strip off the faux carbon fiber covering and lose my Gurney lip. This tail is legal (The only one) in PCA "Stock" Club Racing.

$450 or best offer shipped in the CONUS...it has a new grill which on its own about $125. I have about $600 invested in the tail....I have a 993RS Club Sport tail now, how much tail does a guy need

Forgive my ignorance in advance. Is this a "bolt on" piece or entire deck lid to replace the entire engine cover?

 

..a bolt in and replaces the mechanized tail. It also has an array of LED brake lights which look pretty cool from the rear. The tail is being packed up today in anticipation of a sale...I'll know the weight and dimensions and this way the freight expense can be determined.
