I assume it attaches to the end of the shift linkage. It replaces the factory unit that is plastic.
You can see it on Erics site (bumper plugs) I bought this from him a year ago for $300+118. THat's why I was trying to get some back. I want the RSS Xpipe:-).
My car has the factory SSK, which is okay, but to be able to adjust the gates would be nice. If I get stuck with it I'll install it on the new car.
