Motorad is an OE supplier of thermostats for many carlines including Porsche.
Porsche OE thermostats do not begin to open until temperatures rise to 180 degrees. This low
temperature thermostat opens at 160 degrees allowing the engine to run at cooler temperatures without
effecting engine performance.
Fits all 986/987 ( Boxster/Cayman ) as well as 996/997 ( 911 ) models to model year 2008. The low
temperature thermostat replaces part numbers 996 106 125 52 ( 53 ).
Does NOT fit GT2, GT3 or Turbo Engines.
