Do you know if this roll bar would fit a '97 993 Cabriolet?

Is this pretty much a one time install thing, or is it easy to install/remove/install/remove, etc.

It was my first time doing anything like this and it wasn't difficult at all (removing, that is). It took me about an hour or so working alone.

How stock is the interior once removed? And are there any bits sticking out still? In other words, can I remove the bar and put my 5 year old safely in the back?

Thanks,

JPS, It'd be a BIG PITA to install then uninstall everytime you want to take your child with you (in the back seat). There would be NO safe way of having them back there with the bar installed. Their head would strike the bar since it's not designed to accommodate rear passengers. Put em in the front and make em smile.....

Very clear on that. Hence the ease of install/removal.

+1. Not a good idea to have them back there with this in place. This was the main reason why I removed it in the first place. I have two little guys that love to ride back there.

Guys. I never considered putting munchkins in back with the bar. Im trying to find the best bar for ease of install ad removal since I take it out after each event.
