3.0 968 engine
Complete 1992 968 3.0 liter engine, came with 6spd manual transaxle. Transaxle NOT included.
INCLUDED: ECU, injectors, power steering pump, alternator, A/C compressor, wiring harness, OEM cat back exhaust, headers
Not Included: Clutch housing
What you will need: Clutch housing, new pressure plate, clutch, clutch release lever. Engine needs a refresh. Cams are in great shape, all teeth are there for cam chain. I would recommend new cam chain/cam chain pad, all new gaskets as engine leaked oil from many places. Knock sensors/speed sensor IS there, but I would replace with new with engine refresh. USED the past 6 years as track car only....never left me stranded on track.
$2,000 Located in Charlotte NC area. Can arrange to deliver within 300 miles....
Thanks...

Good point Kevin; even the CAMS alone are almost 2k......you can't buy a complete head for 2k....
Somebody.....somewhere, interested in taking this extra engine off my hands.
No internal damage, cams/chain/teeth are 100% fine; balance shafts are there, water pump...all with exception of items noted above.

I ran this engine on TRACK ONLY from 2012-2017; Ran fine when I removed it and did the engine swap. Reason I swapped out was that I ran through 1.5 quarts of oil PER TRACK DAY...and it still had original flywheel, street clutch. I wanted to do upgrades like balance shaft delete, lightweight flywheel, etc..... So I found an engine that a good friend of mine built for a mutual buddy...with all of the things I wanted to do and bought it and swapped. Now I have this OEM original engine for sale.
This engine is complete, BUT I would rebuild it/refresh it for use. If you have it out...you SHOULD do that; for leaks alone. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew of that.
