Original 944 S2 (1989) Engine support crossmember. I removed it and replaced it with a Lindsey Racing 3 piece but it took too long for me to get the core returned to them. If you're thinking about buying one of their crossmembers they'll give you a core credit on this one (they originally promised me $300, don't know what they're offering now).

Unless you're willing to pull your crossmember and leave your engine suspended from a support or up on a jack, this is the ticket and you can always pay it forward to someone else later. If you live in earthquake country like me, it beats leaving it on the lift while you're waiting for them to receive, clean and manufacture the three piece.
