Hi All,
I have this extremely rare Bosch KTS-300/ 301 "Hammer" Diagnostic Tool for sale. I bought this several years ago to use on my 1994 Porsche 928 GTS and it has saved me thousands of pounds in repair and labour costs over the years. As I am selling my 928 GTS, I no longer need this tool. The tool is currently in the UK as I have a house in England where I keep some of my Porsches but I also maintain a home in Los Angeles (scheduled to come over to the USA on March 1st) so could easily bring it with me and courier it to another address in the USA from LA.
Included in the sale:
- Bosch KTS-300 "Hammer"
- "9288" Porsche Diagnostic Module, suitable for 1989 onwards Porsche 928/ 964/ 993/ 968 (This 9288 module upgrades the Hammer from a 300 to a 301 version model)
- Version 8.1 English software loaded on to the 9288 module (the best and last version of the diagnostic software)
- Porsche-fit 19 pin car diagnostic plug to 8 pin KTS-300 lead
- "Universal" 20 pin car diagnostic plug to 8 pin KTS-300 lead
- Universal battery charger with transformer and plug adapter for UK sockets
- 8 pin KTS-300 plug to 9 pin female PC Serial Port lead (for connecting tool to PC/ printer)
- 8 pin KTS-300 plug to universal test cable set & leads
- Replacement wiring for NICAD battery pack
- 3x spare generic programmable modules
- All original paperwork, including original invoice (nearly £2900 when new in 1998) and instructions
- Original Bosch hard carry case which fits in all of the above
These Bosch Hammers are very rare and do not come up for sale often- it took me many months of searching to find my one. Apparently, when new, Porsche would not sell Bosch test equipment like this to private customers and to make matters worse, in the late 90s Porsche destroyed all of their remaining KTS-301s when they changed diagnostic tools. It only takes a quick look on the usual Porsche forums to see that people simply cannot get hold of them today.
