Very clever. How's the pad contact area? Do you end up with even pad contact on the rotor?

I actually didn't come up with this, 996 turbo guys have been doing it for 7-8 years (997 s brakes are the same as 996tt)

contact area is perfect. Pad sits right at the top of the rotor. Zero issues, direct bolt on. Makes a big difference in braking power but the confidence you gain in brake feel is truly the best part.https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...d803832a7f.jpg

Nice. This is for the front and the rear?

Very interesting kit and well priced. Of course I have a few questions...

  • Are you assembling/manufacturing them?
  • The bolts — are they a Porsche part, and if not who makes them?
  • Replacement bolts, where do we get them?

Just want to make sure we understand the quality/specs of such a safety critical part.

Thanks.

Karl.

I have a machine shop make the spacers for me yes. 6061 aluminum. Bolts I purchase in bulk through my local fastener wholesaler. They are 12.9 grade bolts just like the oem bolts just longer. As for replacements, you should not need any but if so I can supply them.
I also carry product liability insurance for all the little parts I make to cover myself.

Many guys running my kits. Much more popular is the 996 turbo guys (996tt/c4s, 997 c2s/c4s all you the same brakes)

Does this work with Center Lock hubs as well?
