Trouble removing license plate bulb holder - any BTDT?
The instructions seem clear in my owners manual but I cannot remove the bulb holder for the life of me w/ a flat head screw driver as in the manual. And of course I really don't want to break anything.
Do I just need a larger screwdriver and more force? I can already see deformation of the plastic slot that is supposed to enable the removal.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I was able to figure this out w/ help from the 6-speed forum. It turns out the owners manual is wrong and you don't remove the bulb holder by inserting a flathead into the slot as instructed.
Instead, from the left side of the bulb holder insert the flathead under the lip and push the entire unit to the right. In doing so, the tab will be released and the bulb holder pops right out.
The LED lights I got from Suncoast were considerably longer than stock, so the retaining clips needed to be pried open to accommodate - but the bulb does in fact fit inside the holder and works perfectly. From yellow to white light and no codes!
