Default Panamera 4s Start Issue

Love my Panny!. However, about 30% of the time when I go to start the car, all the interior lights, etc. come on but the engine does not make a peep and the car does not start. Then I turn the key (I have keyless go) to the off position and on again and it starts every time.

The dealer is befuddled, although he tells me that one other customer has told him the same thing. Anyone know anything about this??? Thanks.

Is that happening on a 2017 Panamera?

I have a 2017 (base) with the keyless entry/start and that has happened to me several times, actually. I think it has to do with turning the key all the way too fast and/or before I have full pressure on the brake pedal.

Ironic considering the reasons the key is on the left to begin with.

I noticed the same thing - I root caused to the break pedal being harder on this car compared to my previous one. Once I start pushing harder the break pedal I am not seeing this happening anymore.

Thanks guys. Yes it is a 2017 Panamere 4s. I will start pressing harder/longer on the brake pedal to see if it solves the issue. Had 2 previous Panny's (2011 and 2014) and it never happened
