whats the paint code?
No idea on paint code, but it looks very different in different light conditions. In the showroom or in bright sunshine, it looks like Guards Red. In cloudy conditions, it does look quite a bit darker.

Have only done about 130 miles so far. It makes a nice noise :-) The 3.0 V6 at 330 horsepower seems plenty quick enough for me and it's fun to work the engine that bit harder. Have averaged about 25 (UK) MPG so far in mixed driving...

Quick question. Is your trim inside the default black? If so, how do you find it in real life, I.e. Not on the configuration? All the demo cars I've seen have the carbon which looks great but is a pricy option. Mine is configured with the black for now. Just wondering what you think.

Not so quick question. Initial thoughts/review? Comments on the rear-axle steering?

Cheers.

Hi. Yes, the inside is black full leather with the standard piano black trim. For me it is fine. The silver trim details make a nice contrast with the black. And you can see the red bonnet and mirrors from inside. And the windows let in lots of light. Had budget been unlimited, I may have gone for the carbon interior trim, but am very happy with the standard black.

For the second question, it is early days as have not had much chance to drive it in the first week. I'll do over 400 miles this weekend, so will update after that.

Cheers,

Simon

Very nice looking car! I'm hoping you've exceeded 200 miles on it by now

i was down at the dealership the other day finalising my spec and they had their showroom Panamera with the Piano black trim and it looked lovely. so i don't regret not going for the carbon. but, like you said, if money was no object....

I asked the guy whether the rear-axle steering was worth it and he said "what did i think?" as the demo i borrowed over a weekend had it on! to be honest, i didn't even notice it was there but i also remember thinking that the car didn't feel as big as it looked around town. I took it through the heart of London too and it didn't "feel" big. maybe that was down to the rear-axle steering and maybe without it the car would've felt bigger and less maneuverable! i took the option of having it anyway.

my spec is all locked in now with a build date of around the 8th May and delivery still penciled in for 22nd May. i can't wait and i'm keeping my fingers crossed i can get it early.

enjoy your ride!
