The delivery (UK) of mine has been delayed, but I got to borrow this for the day today. Great to be in a new Panamera again, but not really sold on the all-beige interior, and I prefer the look of the 21" wheels to the smaller ones. While I wait for my delayed Panamera 4, my Retail Manager has kindly lent me her BMW 4 Series Convertible!

Yes indeed, about the BMW.

I understand that apparently 270 cars were selected for a quality check at Leipzig. Mine wasn't one of them, but having 270 cars stacked in the compound caused logistical problems and a back up of other cars. That is what my Porsche Centre have told me.

I believe that they are 20" wheels on the Night Blue car.

 

Thanks for sharing this. I too am in delayed position. Hoping for end of this month. This is the color and wheels ordered. I went with the 20" wheels because I do a lot of city driving on lousy roads and they will generally give me a better ride with a lower risk of bending rims on bad roads, although I do agree the larger wheels look better. But in my case practicality wins for this car since it is my DD. Your comment about the interior is interesting as I struggled between the black and the beige and ultimately went for the brown leather. Did you drive it? Any first impressions? Did you get any pics of the interior? What did you think?

 

Hi. I've driven over 500 miles in demo Panameras - the Night Blue 4S above and a Carmine Red 4SD. I love the car. The interior is amazing and very luxurious. Even on 21" wheels, the 4SD was a supremely comfortable car, both around town and on the motorway. Personally, I think that brown leather will look nicer than the beige. The Night Blue exterior is very classy, I think :-) My new Panamera 4 will also be my DD and sole car. I will just have to be very careful with the 21" rims! Let us hope that we are both enjoying our new Panameras by the end of the month...!

 

the blue is nice , but i think you made a better choice with the red. These delays are exhausting. hope your car is not away from home for too long
