New to the Panamera I just bought for the wife. Display says it's time for service. The car has 14,000 on it and records show that it was serviced at 8000 mi. The dealer wants $1000.
Is there something special that the car requires beyond an oil change? Thanks for any input, I can't locate any service schedule online (guess I'll have to read the manual

It's a base model. I was told by a friendly service manager that it also includes checking for software updates, whatever that means. What,s the deal on the reset tool? Would like to get that annoying message off the display.
I bought the durametric enth version and it re sets my service indicators. As far as update , you can always call the dealer and have them do any (if there are any) and it would be covered. Not sure about other option but I had mine from my 911 and it was the same software. I got lucky.
