Default standard Pana 4 stock exhaust

What is the function of the vacuum part on the rear of the exhaust system(right by the tips almost). I assume there is a hose connected? I saw a post on this weeks ago and can not find the info.. any exhaust note change by disconnecting?

OK, forget that as I do not have that set up. I do have one pipe exiting the rear muffler with a second hole that s capped off... wonder if adding that additional pipe would be the sport exhaust??

Same here....did you open the second outlet exhaust hole? if so how did it work/sound? any changes in performance? What I don't want to happen for v6, is sound good but negatively affect power...

I didn t do anything. Opening a little more flow at the mufflers would not effect performance at all. The system is more restricted at the cats/resonators etc...
